The month of March is notorious for a big sharks, and they are here now! The last few trips have been producing some very nice fish! We have been catching a lot of very big sharks, including hammerhead, bull, and a rare thresher shark. The hammerhead sharks have been anywhere between 6-9 foot with a few larger ones coming threw. They can be caught anywhere from 200-400 feet of water on the surface, look for fish moving south swimming into the current. These fish will take a variety of baits pretty much anything you can think of, these fish fight great and are very fun on light tackle, becareful to release these fish and send them on there way they are protected! Our most recent trip we caught a very rare giant thresher shark. These sharks are known for their extremely long tails, they are a deep water shark and are seldom caught, they have huge eyes and a iridescent purple color, that's sharks are protected as well but they put up a great fight, the one we caught the other day we spent 2 hours fighting on 80lb class tackle. {%image_id=52711%}{%image_id=52712%}{%image_id=52713%}{%image_id=52714%}
