Sharks , Tunas, Sailfish Fort Lauderdale COME FISHING

February 28, 2014 The Lady Pamela II fleet has two all-day charts today. I ran the 55 footer and Capt. Justin ran the 45 footer. My charter was a mixed of fishing as got a couple tilefish on some deep drops, and pulled in couple of bonitos on the troll. We saw a couple of sailfish but could not draw any bites. We also had a big shark bite on one of the surface baits but he bit clean through the monofilament leader of the sailfish rig and swam off. Capt. Justin's charter caught some blackfin tunas up to 13 pounds, as well as a few bonitos. Some of his charter party got a little sick so they ended up coming in early. I am excited about March fishing off Fort Lauderdale as my review of last year's trips shows that big sharks and loads of blackfin tunas and bonitos should be around. The weather will be the tricky part with fishing in March as the seas may be somewhat unpredictable. Whatever the weather though, the LPII fleet is always ready to go!
