{%image_id=62989%} The snapper bite is off the scale this week. Tons of yelloweye snappers are invading our reefs and biting everything we throw down there for them. We haven't seen yelloweye snappers for at least 3 years here in Fort Lauderdale. I'm glad they are making a comeback. They sure are good eating. We're getting into them in about 300ft of water, just off Port Everglades inlet. The best bait has been squid, although sardines work nicely too. plenty of vermillions and yellowtails are mixed in with the catch too. Snappers of all species bite good during the months of May and June. Give us a call to come on any of our $45 per person drift fishing trips (we anchor fish at night). The action is good and there's no better time to come fishing then when the fish are biting. Let's go fishing! Capt.
