{%image_id=64157%} The yellowtail snapper bite is hot this week on our Fort Lauderdale night fishing trips. October is always one of our best months of the year for snapper fishing. While they bite pretty good during the day trip, it's night where they really snap. Once it gets dark, snappers throw caution to the wind and venture out far and wide in search of food. When they come across our chum slick, they hone right in on it. When we first get to spot, we chum it up and start fishing. It takes a while for the chum to work so be patient. If the fish aren't biting right away, give it a half hour and I'll bet the yellowtails start finding you. Not just the yellowtails either, we are also getting mangrove snappers, a few mutton snappers, lots of porgies and grunts, some sharks. There's a plethora of species we catch when we're anchored up and chumming the water. We have another month and a half of this good night anchor fishing before it starts to quell. Give us a call to get out there on a trip soon. We fish every night. Let's go fishing! Capt. Andy Roydhouse www.FishHeadquarters.com 754-214-7863 cell {%image_id=64156%}{%image_id=64158%}
