{%image_id=55699%} What a week! We've got all the boats running again on their regularly scheduled fishing trips. Hurricane Irma is long gone and none of our boats sustained any damage. We've been fishing the past 3 days and the fishing is off-the-scale here in Fort Lauderdale. Dolphin, tuna, wahoo, kingfish and more are biting on our charter boat trips. And our drift fishing trips are catching loads of yellowtail snapper, mangrove snapper, mutton snapper and kingfish. There are some cobias coming through as well. A few of our trips caught some big cobia out there over this past week. I guess the churned up waters get them chewing too. I love fishing after a big storm. There are so few boats our there fishing, there is almost no pressure on the fish these days. It's like fishing used to be back in the 1970's. This phenomenon won't last long so it's good to get out there fishing as soon as you can. {%image_id=55700%} All of our trips are doing good, but the daytime drift fishing and the night anchor fishing trips are doing the best for general action. These trips are very reasonably priced at only $40 per person ($30 for kids), and are the best fishing deal in Ft Lauderdale. On the drift boat trips, we concentrate on catching bottom fish such as snappers and groupers. Snappers are biting astoundingly good. Squid, ballyhoo, sardines and silversides are all working great for bait. Our night anchor trips the past few nights have actually been filling the box. Good luck to everyone fishing over the next few days or nights. Tight lines and I'll sea ya on the water. Capt. Paul Roydhouse www.FishHeadquarters.com 754-214-7863 {%image_id=55701%}
