Our last fishing trip out of Fort Lauderdale in August, before we left for a month long vacation, we fished with a family of 3 from Canada. We had some good size kingfish, bonito and some big runners for the younger angler. Fishing was pretty good before we left and we had numerous shots at sailfish, hammerhead sharks, spinner sharks and big kingfish. We made a lot of happy customers this summer and will continue to do so this coming season. {%image_id=40204%} {%image_id=40206%} {%image_id=40205%} {%image_id=40207%} We're in our slow season now, the vacation is over and the kids are back in school. But let's not forget there still some nice fish out there. Thursday of last week was our first since our return and we wanted to check on fishing a little bit. We only fished for a few hours before dark and some sailfish action. On Saturday, we had some kingfish and missed a few other good fish. {%image_id=40208%} In a few weeks, we're going to have what we call the mullet run and fishing should be good for snook and tarpon around the inside the inlet, and on the reef. We also like to use live mullet when we kingfish and have caught some nice Mahi on live mullet as well. Fishing can get very good when we have all those mullet in the area, and very exciting too!!
