I am writing to bring you up to date on the exciting fishing action we have had off the Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood area. The last week or so Lady Pamela sportfishing has been catching a few king mackerel, bluefish, and wahoos in around 300 to 400 feet of water. A little further out, in 400-500 feet of water, the shark fishing has also been good. We caught a variety of sharks including hammerheads, makos, and a thresher shark. {%image_id=57497%} {%image_id=57498%} Live-baiting from kites has produced more mahi-mahi than sailfish in the 100-300 foot depth range. Small schools of 5-7 fish were having a great time chasing our surface baits under the kites. Out closer to 300 feet of water we caught 3 sails while trolling and caught a few more while slow trolling live bonitos. There has been a little bit of everything offshore and the action should keep up this week as a small cold front pushing through today. {%image_id=57495%} {%image_id=57496%} {%image_id=57494%} Tight Lines, Capt.
