Crabs for Redfish

My charter over the weekend was on the boat of a great customer. Mike Santos and his wife have been fishing with me for 6 years. This year they pulled the boat down and turned on the GPS as soon as my feet hit the deck. As everyone probably knows, some Guides don't like GPS equipment on their boat. I could care less and will draw you a flippin' map to my fishing holes if you ask me. The redfish/flounder/trout (Big Trout) were all off some oysters bars in South Matlacha Pass. Big Redfish and rat reds. All decent size flounder (i can't believe people don't target flounder) and some darn nice trout. Saw 2 nice snook but like many other guides, I'm not targeting snook for catch and release. Hope to get out Wed for grouper trolling. Most people think it is too early but not me. We will see on Wed and Thurs trips. "GiddyUp"
