Fall !Fishing Heats Up Greetings, Greetings, Fall fishing is in full swing here in Southwest Florida. Spanish Mackerel, Tarpon, Kingfish, and Bull Redfish have all come to visit over the last two weeks. Artificial reefs are holding Spanish Mackerel most days with fish running between two and five pounds. Spoons and jigs will take plenty of fish but the most fun we have had was on live scaled sardines and light six pound spinning rods. Wrecks from ten to thirty miles can hold King Mackerel, Cobia, and of course Goliath of the giant variety. Trolling Rapala Magnums with catch kings as will live baits suspended under balloons or slow trolling. Our favorite strike from a kingfish under a kite. You will also catch your biggest cudas of the year with this method this month. Far offshore from fifty to eighty miles you will find Blackfin tuna, school Dolphin, Amberjack, Yellowtail, and American Red Snapper all waiting to take up the fight. Sincerely, Capt. Rick
