Fall Fishing Greetings, Fall fishing is in full swing and our bait migration is looking very good. Like our summer water quality, our fall water quality remains very good. Our near shore fishing has been excellent lately. Spanish mackerel are around most of the artificial reef and wrecks. Look for birds and bait being crashed. Lady fish and jacks are mix in as well. Silver spoons, jigs, and small plugs that imitates a glass minnow imatations work best. This is a great time for a fly rod. Try a Clouser minnow they love them. Baby Tarpon are active near the bridges. Big Tarpon are in shallow along the beaches. Cut catfish tails are hard to beat from and anchored boat right now. There are some big sharks with them also. Offshore kingfish have arrived and eating Rapala CD 18s, and blue runners. Hard bottom and wrecks both are holding good fish. Keep you eye on the weather. Sincerely, Capt. Rick
