A bucket or six pack cooler with some ice packs or ice cubes in a freezer bait will keep those sardines firm and fit for chum and gang baits on your redfish and snapper rigs,. We down sized out jigs and bottom rig hooks to 1 or 2/0, as there were plenty of legal plus snapper in our redfish holes. The reds will hook up about as well on the downsized circle hooks. To make for best hook ups on the slightly small circle hooks, bend out the hook tip a couple of degrees to widen the gap. This will still pretty much maintain the integrity of the circle hook design. We didn't deep throat gorge any of our reds, yet still made good hookups on the finicky bait stealer ravenous snappers. "Snapper burgers!" I'm in! Bring on the hot sauce, yellow rice and black beans. See You, ON The Water!!
