Great week of Snook Fishing

This was a week that many of my clients wait for the warmer air temperatures and water have the snook very active with many oversized fish being caught.{%image_id=8571%}Fishing in South Matlacha Pass and San Carlos Bay There were lots of snook in the 3-5 lb. range and a good number up to 16 lbs. taken on live shinners.{%image_id=8570%} There have been a few redfish but not as many as I would like to see.{%image_id=8569%} There are still Mackeral and Bluefish on the grass in 3-5 ft. of water near the Sanibel causeway also on live shinners.
