Next Fishing Trip will be 27July2011

SW FL, especially Pine Island, is not the place to be this summer. The mosquitos are simply overwhelming, vicious, and blood sucking. Locals say it is the worst year in recent memory. I cannot personally attest to an abundance of redfish but that's the rumor. Vast amounts of fresh water from recent rains have our emerald green water looking pretty dark. I'll be in Maryland until later this month. Good luck and be safe if you venture out this summer. Always-always check the weather before casting off lines.
