Fishing report for the week ending 7/11 2011{%image_id=21674%} Several rain cooled days have caused a spike in the snook and trout fishing, pictured above are Austin Kingsberry and his son with a nice snook double. These were two of 8 snook caught at this spot 5 of which were slot fish taken on live shinners.{%image_id=21675%} Sea Trout have also been good with some being in the 20-25 inch range great for this time of year, live shinners either free linned or under a popping cork have worked best. The bigger trout have been around the beaches and passes.{%image_id=21678%} There are still some mangrove snapper inshore even with the salinity of the water going down, this capt"s favorite. Smaller shinners free linned work best.{%image_id=21676%} Pictured above the Samenuck family with a redfish taken on cut ladyfish. Redfish have been best on the flats or in the mangrove"s on high water.{%image_id=21394%} Shark fishing has remained good lemons, blacktips, bulls are still going to be good for weeks to come.
