Backbay: Crews plowed into the wayback creeks, lagoons and rivers looking for fishable water outa the wind. There were reports of good redfish action in Estero, P.I. and behind the Burnt Store Bars. Wheels woulda helped but if you're running a mudskipper, you could pole in and fish the sand holes and meanders with pretty fair results. My crews picked mixed size reds on live and frozen shrimp; whitebait was tough to get in the wind. Snook are hunkered down in the creeks and sunners are beginning to lay out on the sand when the cloud cover allows, winter over patterns are just about ready get into full swing. Trout action can be good when you can manage to slow your drift. Gulps, shallow running plugs, DOA Shrimp {%image_id=36215%}
