{%image_id=54504%}Made it out on the water this past week despite the latest round of storms. On a recent trip we headed out early with Pennsylvanians Madison Walsh, Dave Alexander, Kate Sprague and Ryleigh Sprague and headed to the nearshore reefs off of Fort Myers Beach. Used shrimp to catch grunts (pigfish) and turned those into shark bait. The group caught 5 hammerheads up to about 5-feet in length. Moved to another rock pile and landed lots of jacks and more seatrout than the group could count, also on live shrimp on jigs. Ten slots went in the cooler for dinner and then outran the storms back to the dock! {%image_id=54503%}In the photo of the hammerhead is Madison along with the Captain.
