Hurricane Charley has brought Southwest Florida to its knees BUT we will prevail. It is very difficult for me to see the sights associated with this storm and offer you a fun filled fishing report. But, we must move on and defeat the things that wish to defeat us. Believe it or not, 2 hours before this freakin' Monster hit St. James City (Pine Island) the fishing was on fire. A rapid drop in barometric pressure is like catnip to fish. Snook were chasing mullet all over the canals and some of the locals enjoyed some fab fishing in the driving rain. Weird but true. This Sunday I have a full day charter and I will report accordingly next week. In my opinion, the fishing will probably be on fire. Things will get better. "GiddyUp"
