Before and after these darn Hurricanes, the fishing has been on fire. But enough already with the Hurricanes. The feeling has been like waiting for the Governor to say Yes or No to your death sentence. Unreal to say the least. October is almost upon us and that means Big Lip Lures for Grouper, Redfish, and Snook. Last Sunday I had my first charter since 3 days before Hurricane Charley. We trolled Yo-Zuri Crystal Minnow DD's out of Redfish Pass. 3 miles out max. The Beeson's from Atlanta scored keeper Gag Grouper and oversize Snook. 29" 28" and the Snook was 38". Tarpon: I'm not sure if the migration South is on or what but this area is loaded with Silver Kings. Hurricane Jeanne will be here tomorrow so the weather should turn rotten. It has not been fun being a Pro Fishing Guide since August 10, 2004. I'm praying Jeanne goes out into the Atlantic. After these Hurricanes are over (if ever seemingly) I should have some "GiddyUp" in my report for you. Heck, my theory is that all of this is Bill Clinton's fault. Everybody blames him for everything else so what the hell. GiddyUp! JB
