Southwest Florida Fishing Report - Bonita Springs to Captiva

Remember the song "What a difference a day makes"? Chances are if you are reading this you do. For the past two weeks, we have been nailing keeper Grouper, Kingfish, and Cobia in 30Ft of water off Redfish Pass. Now, everything has changed. The Grouper bite has gone from on fire to on ice. This applies to "KEEPER" grouper. Shorts (those under 22") are in abundance. Trolling Big Lip Lures or drifting Stroms lures scores grouper in good numbers.
