Southwest Florida Fishing Report - Bonita Springs to Captiva

March has no equal when it comes wind velocity on a daily basis. How windy is it? It is soooo windy that me and my charter witnessed a wind surfer flying out of control in to the mangroves. Smack, crack, OUCH! One of the funniest things I've ever seen. The Red Tide is now a memory. Trout are all over the grass flats around the "A Frames" and Chino Island. Big trout seem to attracted to DOA shrimp fished under Cajun Thunder Popping Corks. It is my contention DOA Shrimp surpass real shrimp in catching big trout.
