Southwest Florida Fishing Report - Bonita Springs to Captiva

At the present time, fishing in SW FL has a certain electricity. How about cloud to ground lightening bolts and funnel clouds. No chances are ever taken on a GiddyUp Fishing Charter. If we are not running from storms, we are catching huge trout, redfish, and snook. The Tarpon have pulled a Hank Snow. The Trout have returned in good numbers and size. Flaoting over the grass and fishing the deeper holes can produce Big Trout. How big? 18-23". That ain't bad. Redfish lusts for chuncks of Ladyfish. I felt like an idiot this weekend when I heard a story about Redfish biting on imitation crab. Bull! I didn't catch jack. Snook are on fire on the beaach and appear to be under great pressure by guides and recreational anglers. Wish I had more news for you but almost all my time is spent running from storms. "GiddyUp"
