Today is the 4th day in a row that its been to windy for a reasonable chance at hooking a tarpon. The last good day Friday May 13th. The tarpon were schooling in Boca Grande Pass preparing for the first spawn of the year and preparing to feast on pass and blue crabs. We hooked 4 that evening and its been blown out ever since. Continious west winds have up Pine Island Sound and even Boca Grande Pass. As soon as the winds turn out of the east things will get back to normal. When the tarpon show back up they will probably be very hungry and we'll have some of the best fishing of the season.
