Fishing report for the week ending 12/15/2011{%image_id=23881%} Top-water plug action has been excellent, this fatty was just under 14 lbs. (it swallowed that skitterwalk) A warmer than normal December is making for some great fishing around Sanibel and San Carlos Bay despite the windy conditions.{%image_id=23882%}To go along with some good redfish catches have been some monster trout like the one above. With top-water plugs 4-5 lb. fish have been normal.{%image_id=23883%}Good numbers of 20-24 inch redfish are on the flats on low incomming tides.{%image_id=23884%}On the higher tides there has been a whole new crop of rat reds (16-17 inch) anywhere you can find oysterbeds. A live shrimp under a popping cork works best.{%image_id=23695%}Want to be a hit for Christmas give that special person a fishing charter. For charter information or to reserve a trip contact. Capt.
