{%image_id=52749%}The wind is the story over the next few days and fishing in the blow is a problem. No worries. It will hopefully calm down on Tuesday or Wednesday and we can get back at it. {%image_id=52748%}This past week has been interesting with a variety of species. Fishing with a mix of shrimp tipped jigs and pilchards on 2/0 circle hooks brought in a range of bites. Beautiful days to be out on the water even though it was a little breezy at times. {%image_id=52750%}The bag was mixed with seatrout, black drum and snook along with the usual pilchard loving jacks. The redfish were a bit scarce but better tides and weather this coming week ought to fix that problem. Wildlife activity has picked up in the backcountry with lots of sightings of dolphin and manatees. The wildlife has also picked up on Fort Myers Beach thanks to spring break.   Give me a shout if you want to go wet a line. I got a few openings, so hurry.

Tight Lines,

Capt. Brad Brown
