Well, if it is pompano you are looking for then you will be happy to know that they are here and here in good numbers. We caught pompano around the power line at the Nuke Plant on the river side and in the surf at Ocean Village and at the Power Plant. We were using sandfleas. The catch and release trout action has been red hot at places like the Moorings and Harbor Branch to the north and to the south at places like the Midway Road area, both Big & Little Mud Creeks and on the flats just north of the Jensen Beach Causeway. Live shrimp has landed the most fish. The snook action has been at the Inlet on the out going tide. Live baits have been the best. The action has been good at the North Bridge when fishing with large live shrimp and after dark. The snapper, sheepshead, black drum and a few flounder are around the local bridges and are feeding on live shrimp. Until next week, good fishing. Capt. Joe Ward Inshore Fishing Guide
