Inshore fishing has been on the rise this past week with good snook action reported early in the morning. The hot spot again this past week has been at the North bridge. Live shrimp are still working best on the tide changes. The trout action has also been good with the trout feeding most of the day. The BIG trout have been caught at first light and just before dark using top water lures. Live shrimp and a popping cork fished in 3 to 5 feet of water has worked the best for the rest of the day. The flounder are in the Turning Basin again. There are reports of flounder weighing from 4 to 10 pounds being caught there. Once again live shrimp is your best bet. The jacks are all over the river. These fish make for a great fight and are weighing in from 10 to 45 pounds. This is a fun fish to catch. The snapper action slowed just a little the first part of the week but was back in full force by the end of the week. Fish next to ant structure and use live shrimp. Thw whiting are in the surf. There were also reports of sand perch being caught on the south Jetty. Until next week, Good Fishing
