Gulf Grouper fishing Report 18 Dec 2007 Gulf Grouper Fishing Report 18 Dec 2007 Warm weather and great Grouper fishing is still the normal activity off Hernando beach. The Gulf Grouper, and the Party boat Thunder have been catching lots of Grunts, and Groupers. Most of the better fishing activity is still in 35 feet of water. The water temperature today was 70 degrees and warming. The water clarity was approximately 12 feet with a light green tint.
