Inshore fishing action is steady picking up. Trout action is good on the incoming tide using white flukes, watermelon red flukes, mirrodines 17mr in 808 and 50 color and some topwater plugs such as rapala skitter walks in swo8 in white and mullet color. Red fish action is on the rise with schools from 4 to 12 and size from middle to upper slot are cruising the rocky banks. Look for mullet schools and a good current flow live shrimp, pin fish and cut lady fish has been the best go to bait. Spanish mackerel are here in great numbers we have caught a bunch in the last two weeks from 3 to 10 miles out. White little johns rigged with a 1/4 ounce jig head is all you need. Cobia will be showing up very soon along with king fish, White bait aka green backs should show up any time now. Things are going to turn on big time in a few more weeks get your fishing gear ready and stop by Precision Tackle for your tackle needs.
Tight Lines,
Capt. Josh Fritz
