Foggy bottom redfish

Had a foggy start to the day. Managed to make it out, and fished a few islands south of Homosassa for redfish. Bonnie the Bait Lady hooked us up with some large shrimp which proved too much for the redfish. Target the outer islands where you find schools of large mullet. We landed our reds with free lined shrimp, and shrimp under a floating cork. Used 18" of pink flurocarbon leader with a 2/0 circle hook. The tide was ripping out so fast our next order of business was to find some trout. I'm finding the Sebile Bonga Minnow(blue with silver belly) to be a extremely effective lure for trout around kelp beds in 2-4′. We've been catching larger trout throwing a live pinfish under a floating cork with a 2/0 circle hook. Thanks for reading!
