With so much being written on Social Media, what can I write that might be better or different. It would be so much easier to copy and paste my old fishing reports from 10 years ago. But that will be saved for a later time on a book, I'm working on. Well, we are all different and original. Some things remain similar, like fish and sunsets. Their still different in a small way. Each time a tarpon jumps, it's a little different. {%image_id=50723%} Currently, it's redfish, trout and snook inshore with an occasional flounder being sought along the Nature Coast. Redfish are hitting top water MirrOlures and bait. Shrimp, pinfish, cut mullet or ladyfish. Some over the slot into the 30" range, although most are in the slot. A variety of sizes. With trout, my favorite rig to catch the most is the Cajun Thunder cigar shaped cork in bright red. 3 feet on floro and a light jig head. I use Lil' Johns in rootbeer and white. My fishing buddy Walt, likes Top Dog MirrOlures, the biggest one in red/white because he loves to see them hit the surface. There are more snook north of the old line than ever. Two good friends of mine have been catching them regular using both D.O.A. jigs or live finger mullet. Over the slot fish. Real beauties. {%image_id=50722%} All these fish can be had with the fly rod. One of my flint creek outfitters friends, friend; has been catching baby tarpon around 7-10 pounds using Gurglers. Go fishing when you can. It's nice out there right now.
