Islamorada Sea Horse off-shore Fishing Report: If you like catching Mahi Mahi you are in luck. We have had a tremendous Mahi Mahi fishery lately. So many fish have been caught by all boats we have almost forgot how challenging fishing was last month. All Captains have been reporting wonderful catches of Mahi. A few big fish here and there however lots of 5 to 10 pound schooling size fish had been caught everyday for 4 weeks. There have been some bigger Tunas caught at the 409 hump and the Islamorada hump first thing in the morning.
