We have been doing plenty of sunset trips lately primarily due to the recent influx of tourists. One thing is for sure, its either hot or its not. Fishing the inlets here in the sportfishing capital of the worldis a great way to spend a short time and catch big fish. These water ways are filled with nurse sharks and Tarpon as well as other species of shark. We fish 20lb spinning gear and use mostly fish bellys or chunks for bait. It is vital to scent the water well so use fish caracasses to chum the water.Sunset is a good time to fish but the tide should be coming in. Circle hooks work well. Wire leaders help so as not to be cut off by sharks. Tarpon dont eat the wire most times so have a line or two out with just monofilament leaders.
