The reef action still remains the most consistent. When the condition are right flag yellowtail snappers can be caught in the 80 to 90 foot range. There not the mad dog bite; we will get in a couple of weeks. just enough to keep you fishing. The patch reefs (30 to 45 feet) have been providing the most consistent action. Freelineing, 11/2 to 2 lb. yellowtails are caught and on the bottom a couple of keeper grouper alone with nice size mangrove and mutton snappers. Cero mackerel with a few Spanish provide top water action. I ran back to the gulf the other day with three guys. They had non stop action with the mackerel. The fish were about 8 miles west of sprigger bank. Tarpon are starting to be caught on live baits at the bridges. Book a trip with a FULL time pro, call 1-800-320-2753. IZZY
