Since my last report I been doing a number of evening trips. I been fishing the tide changes for tarpon with good success. I been using crabs. A side catch was a 35# permit, and the same angler caught a 100# plus tarpon fifteen minutes later. tarpon fishing should cool off with the opening of lobster season...too many traps. Dolphin fishing remains good; the fish are 15 to 25 miles out. More smaller fish around. smaller baits are the key. The reef remains good. A large number of yellow tails on the drift. And on the bottom 4 to 5 pound mangroves a long with mutton and groupers. Live baits on the bottom produce the best. I been fishing in the park late in the day. We been catching some trout and snappers. I been fishing the cuts for tarpon and sharks with good success. The other day I had one of my best trip. I took a 10 year old boy from Georgia fishing for the "make a wish" foundation. We went reef fishing the back of the boat was loaded with fish. He had a bite on every cast. Both he and I enjoyed our self. Book a trip with a full time pro call 800-320-2753. IZZY
