The offshore fishing has been good with the onset of the east winds. There has been a current edge in 300 feet of water. Trolled live baits has been producing sailfish and dolphin in good numbers. The reef in 50 to 90 feet of water is producing nice yellow tail snappers and on occasional grouper of the bottom. In the backcountry, the big (11/2# plus) snappers have finally started to eat. The bridge channels are producing tarpon on a regular basis with the wind out of the east. Live mullet and pinfish are the baits to use. The fish are ranging from 40# to over a 100#. Izzy
