It's GO-TIME, {%image_id=6461%} This is the time of year I really enjoy. {%image_id=6460%} No long boat rides, and plenty of action within sight of the boat ramp, many times. {%image_id=6457%} The last week we've seen all kinds of weather. Calm and warm to rain, wind and choppy conditions in the river. {%image_id=6456%} But it just doesn't matter. Fishing has been great, and will continue to be this way for months, with only weather disturbances being a hitch in the giddy-up, as winter approaches. {%image_id=6455%} So have a back up day....that's what I tell people starting on October 1st. {%image_id=6456%} If not, we'll do the best we can. {%image_id=6459%} Lately, it hasn't seemed to matter. We've fished through some rain and wind, and still had great days. Big, medium, and keeper sized Redfish. Yellowmouth and Speckled Trout. throw in a few Jacks and Ladyfish. have kept everyone busy, busy busy. Here's a few St. Johns River in Mayport photos from the last few days. Redfish with up to 66 spots, 25 pounders, Specks, Jacks, and limits of yellowmouth Trout evem on a windy day. It was all fun, and a good day is when you run out of bait at days end. {%image_id=6174%} 26' center console plate alloy boat. www.captdaves.com Isn't it time you called a buddy and said..."let's get into some of this". 904-642-9546 8am-8pm eastern time 7-days a week
