It's time for BIGGER game

There's two things that keep me up at night planning and dreaming of...Giant Trophy sized Speckled Trout, and hungry Monster Sharks. WHY?? Such a wacky combo? Because, for both when pursued during the proper time of year means; NO LONG BOAT RIDES!!!!!!!!! And so far this year (2014) the Trout fishing has been one big BUST. Sure, I had a few days where it was limits galore in minutes, and Trout to 7-1/2 pounds, very easily. {%image_id=38326%} {%image_id=38325%} {%image_id=38328%} {%image_id=38327%} {%image_id=38324%} {%image_id=38323%} {%image_id=38322%} Right now, on the right tide, I'll dabble in some Light tackle fun along the Jetty rocks. For Weakfish & Pompano, along with some Redfish. {%image_id=21522%} {%image_id=20833%} But, the trophy Specks have been almost NIL & VOID, along the big Jetties I fish daily. Of a day this week where I went and looked for a giant and the last bite of the day was it. Smoking a AVET 50 wide, and found where the weak link was. LESSON LEARNED! Start out chasing the shrimp boats, catch some 100 pounders hopefully. Then, later on go do our own Chum & drift fishing.
