As I sit here, I just finished talking to a buddy in N. Texas and he's gonna get SLAM dunked with a winter storm. -SNOW -ICE -50 MPH WINDS In Texas??? Oh well. He's a trek and a half from the Gulf of Mexico anyway. So jumpin' in the boat and heading out to fish is not his greatest concern, any how. But, it's MINE. I'm 5 minutes from the boat ramp, 3 minutes from the bait shop. You call me. And I'm there! It's as if 50% of my entire business in late notices. Not that I always care for it. But if you can lay down the deposit. I'm your GUIDE. {%image_id=18545%} This is my J-O-B. And besides doing my fishing reports blog daily. It's what I've been doing for the past 15 years. So, I guess you could say I've designed even where I live around fishing charters. Winter Wonderland, N.E. Florida????? Yep. BecauseI can drop the boat in, go a mile and a half. Anchor up. And catch fish all day long. Using no live baits. No casting Lures. Use the lighest of tackle. {%image_id=19077%} It's what I refer too as Winter K.I.S.S fishin'. AND I LOVE IT! Do the same exact thing in June or July. And you'll fight bait-stealers all day long. Crowds of other boaters, Jet-ski's, and maybe catch a decent sized fish. SO YEAH...IT'S A WINTER WONDERLAND! What are the HOT species right now? {%image_id=19076%} {%image_id=19075%} -Black Drum, the Redfishes ugly cousins are chewin. From 10 inchers to 10 pounders. -Sheepshead, they're getting larger each week as we get closer to their spawning time. {%image_id=19081%} Throw in a Speckled Trout, Yellowmouth Trout (weakfish), a Redfish or two. Seabass, a Sand Trout, and you'll have a full day of winter fishing FUN. {%image_id=19084%} And my guarantee is, "No long boat rides" ever! {%image_id=19083%} -Want proof? (even a six year old can whoop up on them) Oh, I have your proof.....visit www.captdaves.com and sign up for my daily fishing reports. Photos, videos, reports, how-to's, tips & techniques and much more. {%image_id=19079%} {%image_id=19080%} Join me aboard the 26' Jettywolf, {%image_id=18033%} {%image_id=18238%}
