Winter Snapper!!

Contrary to popular belief, Northeast Florida has a great winter fishery. We catch fish offshore year around and when it's cold, the bite heats up! As the cooler weather begins to cool the water temp down from the hot summer heat, the fish begin to move closer into shore and limits of snapper can be caught within sight of land. The red snapper and vermillion snapper bite is red hot right now off our coast. !!Over the last 3 charters I've had, we've limited out on snapper with 26 and released over 100 undersized fish as well as several legal fish we couldn't keep because we already had our limit on board. The 3 charters also racked up a combined catch of over 100 vermillion snapper up to 3lbs, black sea bass, and several other species of bottom dwellers. Make plans to get out there and keep your rod bent!! Make sure to bring a jacket!! {%image_id=7140%}{%image_id=7136%}
