Jupiter & Palm Beach Offshore Saltwater Fishing Report
Jupiter, florida
Rob Mazzei
January 25, 2007
Slow sailing! Sporadic “cold fronts” and inconsistent weather patterns have made offshore fishing in West Palm Beach and Jupiter a little inconsistent as well. Although it’s been a windy winter in South Florida, southerly winds have prevailed, in turn keeping waters temps a little high. While it may be satisfactory to beach goers, it appears to encourage a lack-luster Sailfish migration. Yes, we have caught or had a chance of catching a Sailfish nearly every time out but not with any consistency. The fish are scattered! We’ve got some in 65ft, out to 225ft. One here one there, no consistency at all. Same goes for dolphin and king mackerel.
Tight Lines,
Capt. Rob Mazzei
