The day started with multiple knockdowns on the flat lines within 30 seconds after setting up the spread, In about 160ft staying away from the plethora of boats in about 110ft, the excitement was gone when two large bonita were the outcome. After getting our hopes up that it looked to be a great day after the knockdowns all hope was diminished from the outcome. The rest of the day was filled with bonita in shallower depths and a big dorado in about the 220-250 ft range. The wahoo action has turned up although the size of them have been small. Many of the hoo's aren't even placing in tournaments. The dolphin action has been hot and larger ones have been around. We had a nice bull dorado, didn't weight it, on sunday. At the KDW tournament Saturday out of Jupiter Inlet; some friends of mine Capt. Chris Holmes and angler Taylor Smith on the High Hopes landed a 54.7 pound dorado to win the tournament... The spring action has definitely turned up and hopefully it will only get hotter for the fun little KDW's coming up, the next one out of Jupiter Inlet I believe is the Grand Slam/Castaways KDW. Get out there and get yourself some dolphin or smokers cause things are starting to heat up
