"Shark Week" and Sailfish action off Jupiter, FL

The Bonita are still thick off Palm Beach County which means that almost every bait in the water and it's fish on! Although we don't eat Bonita, they are pound for pound one of the best fighting fish out there. The hard part is getting them to the boat before they get eaten by "Jaws". Even that, though, is quite a sight to see. Watching a 6' Bull shark chase and eat a Bonita that's been hooked has been putting smiles on faces all summer long. Heading north, there are still some Cobia, Mahi and even Sailfish being caught off Stuart. We caught 2 sailfish this past week on the "Black Attack". The "Let's Go" out of Stuart Inlet is still reporting regular Cobia catches. Down south of the Palm Beach Inlet, the Kingfish bite is still going off. You've got to work for it, but King Mackeral is a great game fish. "Angler Management" out of Sailfish Marina reported catching 5 Kings the other day.
