Billfishing Good This Week

Friday we started out looking for free jumpers and found one right in front of Fowey light. In about 60 ft, we tossed out a couple of Pilchards and WALA, 3 fish popped up and we were hooked up. After a long fight we caught two. Off shore we went in search of Dolphin and in about 4oo ft we found some grass with alot of fish. The Problem was the fish were mostly small. We did find one school that had some big fish and managed to catch about 20 keepers with several in the 15 pound range. We went back onto the edge and put the kites back out. We caught a double header sailfish, several nice kingfish and a small shark. It was a nice finish to a great day on the cutting Edge {%image_id=7958%}
