This week has been a little different when it comes to fishing for mahi, instead of the fish mostly being found on grass and floaters we have been finding the fish on Turtles, This time of the year the fish will follow the turtles as they migrate south and this year has been a good year for it. Some fish are in the 15 to 20 pound range but most top the scales at around 5 pounds. Also with the turtles it is not uncommon to find small sharks and Cobia following along. On the edge there are still some sailfish and nice black fins late in the day if you can keep the kites up. Inshore around the key area there are nice tarpon on the outgoing tide. Bring crabs and big shrimp for that. Tight lines and look for forward to your call to go fishing Capt Q
