Steady Action The sea conditions finally began lay down today with the fishing remaining excellent. Early in the week we fished the edge and found plenty of Dolphin. Monday the fish were on the edge and today the fish were off just a bit, say 250 or 350. The birds are are sure sign of Dolphin. Sailfish have been slowing down some but there is still plenty around. Today we lost a couple but got a good luck at them before pulling the hook. The edge has plenty of tough pulling bonito to keep you busy until a sailfish or Dolphin grab a bait. The kings are also biting good, most of that action is taking place in the area off Key Biscayne, try starting outin 120 and working in until you get the bite. Once you find them stay in that area. Live pilchards and goggle eyes are best. I am expecting a good dolphin bite for the rest of the week, the heavy winds have most of the bait and Dolphin on the edge. If you are searching for bait that is the toughest part of the day. Look hard in the bay for small birds circling and diving, that will save you the hassels of dealing with all the boats at the local bait spots. Most of the birds in the bay are on Pilchards. Tight Lines. Capt. Q
