BAhamas Trip I spent the last couple of days in the Bimni Islands chasing Yellow Tails and Yellow Eyes. The result was good. The Yellow Eyes were biting best in 700 on bottom rigs and 10 pounds of lead. The yellow tails were biting though a bit finicky south off cat cay in 80 ft. They are small this time of the year but, that's about all that is happening over there this time of the year. On the way over and back we did not see any Dolphin. No weed or floaters. On the edge on this side there have been a few sailfish and wahoo. Mostly on the Kite. A stray dolphin on the kite or on a stray floater is about it right now on Dolphin. The weather has been good offshore, a bit rainy inshore but thats the advantage of going fishing, staying dry.Anyways the fishing should start to improve in the next couple of weeks as hopefully the weather begins to cool a bit.
