First Signs of Sailfish Thursday was the first day it just seemed like Sailfish season. I had a couple of great customers on board and we just wanted some fish but of course Sailfish were on everybodys mind. We started off trying for Kingfish and caught just a couple, we fished the ultra freeze and the action was just not there. So we worked our way offshore looking for a floater or some birds. Nothing. Back to the edge for a try at some bottom fish. We worked some small debree on the bottom and caught a couple of dozen snappers which was a lot of fun. But, the urge for a sailfish kept popping up. So, we headed back to the north were a couple of sailfish were caught the day before in the afternoon. Sure enough another great day was finished off with a double header which we landed one of. A large fish. We also caught a Mutton, a twenty five pound king and some small runners. I think the fishing this weekend is going to go off. I expect with the light north wind we should have some action on Sunday or maybe even Saturday. Keep your fingers crossd. Bait has been good on all the spots. We are open on Sunday and Saturday afternoon, if you would like to try us give me a call at 305-361-9740 Tight Lines
