Miami and Key Biscayne – offshore

Fishing red hot Today the fishing was great, kings helped fill the box on the morning half. They were biting for about an hour near the boil. They were biting small pilchards and runners. They are in the 5 to 10 pound range. We also had 2 sailfish caught in 120 ft. near the boil. They ate threadfins. The afternoon trip was quit exciting with the sailfish action turning on to the south. We started with a 34 pound king on 20 spin and then the kites started to work. 6 Sailfish was the total for the afternoon and it was fantastic. They were biting the treadfins as fast as we could get them out.The action in the afternoon was south off fowey light. 120 was the magical depth. Hope everybody has a good Sunday of fishing.
