Migration of Cobia Begins For the first time this year the Cobia have started there Migration South. Anywhere from 60 to 300 ft. is where you might run into them cruising south on the surface. They may be on Turtles or Whale Sharks and possibly by themselves. Some of these fish could get up to 80 pounds but the average is 30 to 40. Keep your eyes open! Other than that some sailfish and some Dolphin on the edge. A few Muttons on the Bottom and some bonito's and kings at mid-depth. Bait is tough on the rough days, but ok on the average days. As a side note, and a good sign of improving stocks of Blue fish. The other day at Bug Light the Blue fish were so solid you could not catch a bait fish. We switched over to light wire rigs and caught 4 right away. There best released for there meat is not very good. But, they jump and are fun to catch, they sorta fight like a lady fish. Tight lines and no tangles Q www.boatandfishshirts.com
