Miami and Key Biscayne – offshore

Summer Fun Fishing has been great along the coast and in the Bahamas. That is where I have been spending the last month or so. We have done good on the Marlin and Tuna. We caught 2 sailfish in a dead Bimini to take a second place finish in the Big 5 Billfish tournament. Should have had First but the first place boat was aloud to count to fish caught in Chub Cay with no release numbers and with out calling the fish in to the committe boat. Nice to be family with the Head of the committe. Any way. Boat harbor has been great fishing seeing and catching Blues almost everyday. Tuna in Harbor Island was slow but we did catch them, the biggest being 75 lbs. In Miami, Dolphin still roam the ocean. Some days they are tough to find but for the most part we are finding them. Still on the smaller size though. Sailfish and Tuna on the edge when the conditions are right. Blue water and current a must.
